Spaghetti 101

Every kid certainly has their favorite foods. Will, you would think, pretty much eats anything and everything. In fact, he is quite the picky eater. He likes what he likes and will eat only what he wants at that particular tim, except for 3 things: Fruit Snacks, Ice Cream and Spaghetti. I have honestly NEVER seen a child LOVE spaghetti as Will does. He doesn't just eat it. He DEVOURS it with his tractor fork and his hands. He Consumes as much as he can with every single bite. There is no need for baths prior to eating, cause he's going to need one afterwards. Slurping noodles and wiping hands on his clothes or chest are all part of the ritual. It's funny, cause Grandma Vicky once mentioned that it seems as though we eat Spaghetti twice a week. The reality is we do for sure at least once, cause it's yummy, easy and Will loves it. A full belly for Will means a good night's rest. It also means a lot of humorous moments and Mathew and I laugh at how ridiculous he looks. It is a great deal of fun.

20 1/2 Months Old, Favorites

William...what a splendid word/name to my ears. He is the center of our world. He makes us laugh and he brings the ultimate joy to our family. His lively personality, continuous babbling, and strong disposition make him his 'own person'.

He will just come into the living room and ramble off a very detailed sentence with such zest and perscision. Do we understand one word? Not usually. It's common to be followed with laughter. Mat and I have no cluw what he is saying but he says it with such enthusiasm you know it's important to him. He is quite the comedian.

Bringing Home a Baby Bumble Bee, The Wheels on the Bus, and Twinkle Twinkle are a daily songs we sing. Will loves Itsy Bitsie spider too. He will walk around the house doing the motions and asking to sing again. Most of all, though, is Jason Aldean's Big Green Tractor....it plays at least 50 times a day throughout our house and on our phones. He is completely happy and dancing anytime it is on.

Let's see....a few new words?
Oil      Grandma     owl (hoo hoo)   'don' (Brandon)    elbow

That's it for now.

What's on the Table?

It seems our routine has found some consistancy. Even though our world has made some big changes we've finally found something that works. We are very grateful for this. Monday thru Friday, I wake up about 5:45 am, get ready and Mat cooks up someething for breakfast and brews the coffee. He also puts together my lunch too. Just before I leave for carpool, Will usually wakes up happy and cheerful. I get him up and situated for his breakfast. Then Mat teaches and plays with Will till about 10 am. He goes down for a nap till about 12 pm or 1230 pm. Mat works during Will's nap. Lunch together comes after naptime. It usually consistes of sandwiches and either yogurt or fruit. When they're done they go play till football practice. Will loves to run around and play with the football, till I get home from work. Once I'm home, I get Will and put together dinner. William likes to help make dinner when he can.  Then we eat dinner together as a family. We play outside till about 715 pm and then Will goes down. It's a good routine. I get school work done at night and get to spend time with Mathew, just us.

The weekends seem to always be going here and there accompanied by chaos. It's fine though, 5 days of routine works well for us.

6 Weeks of Our Busy Lives

Life seems to have slipped by so quickly. I have had been so busy with our life's events that time has not alotted me the opportunity to blog. Goodness. Let's see here....

Mathew has had a tremendous amount of happenings in his life lately. He has recently become a stay at home father. He works from home and has put someone in the office in Bishop part time. His goal is to grow his business more on the commercial side of things. So far it's been an absolute blessing. Our boy loves having his daddy home.

He has fully recovered from his illness. He was having dizziness, numbness, fever, headache and it seems to have been viral. However, after a CAT Scan and many test he was not diagnosed. Everything came back negative.

Recently, Mathew took Will up to his family's cabin in Virginia Lakes. They really had a tremendous time. Will went fishing with a pole for the first time even.

Grandma Kisses
William is growing stronger, taller and smarter every single day. We're starting potty training this week. His vocabulary his very large. He can say all of the following: mom, dad, cat, tractor, chocolate, Sam, grandpa, Love You, quack quack, brrrm brrrn, car, trash, choo-choo, outside, kiss, cheese, no, yes, nigh night, book, sun glasses, hat, teeth, shoes, socks, dog, blue, banana, sit, rock, fish, chair, and so many others. He is still signing often. He learns new signs often. Tractors, cars, and trains are his daily favorites. He follows directions so well too. He'll put things in the trash and put his toys away without direction. He is quick to make you laugh, tickle you and give zerberts. He is so sweet with his generous hugs and kisses too. All in all he is a healthy, loving boy that is very happy.

Daddy and Will Fishing
Myself, just the same old same old. School, work, and family are my life. Work is going well. I recently went south to visit friends and family. Just Will and I went. We really had a great time. I also took Will to his first movie for his cousin Hunter's birthday. We saw Cat's & Dogs 2. It wasn't that great, but Will really did well in the theater. Fontayne and I went and had sushi and got mani/pedis. It was so much fun. Sunday we were able to visit with Dianne and Tom Schueller as well as my family (Grandma Pellitier, Aunt Shana, Aunt Denise and my sister Kelly. We had great visits.

Happy to be outside in the woods

Will said the word 'hi' today and he also said 'I want daddy' but was even more cute was 'where is dad' with a shrug.
